Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PR & Communication Manager to develop and execute our public relations and communication strategies. You will be responsible for enhancing brand awareness building relationships with key media influencers and stakeholders and driving communication efforts that reflect our companys values and mission. This role requires a proactive and creative individual who can manage all aspects of communication from media relations to content creation and deliver impactful messaging across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive PR & communication strategy that aligns with the companys mission and business goals.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with media outlets influencers beauty editors and industry stakeholders to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Craft compelling press releases media kits and other communication materials to promote new products events and company updates.
  • Act as the companys spokesperson for media inquiries interviews and public events.
  • Oversee all external communications including social media press coverage and partnerships with relevant beauty and lifestyle publications.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts and ensure consistency in messaging during highpressure situations.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing social media and product teams to ensure brand consistency in all publicfacing communication.
  • Monitor PR performance metrics and media coverage providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Plan and execute events product launches and media briefings to increase brand exposure and engagement.
  • Manage external PR agencies and communications vendors as needed.
  • Develop longterm PR strategies to support business growth and brand positioning in both domestic and international markets.
  • Craft and communicate the companys brand story through various channels ensuring alignment with our vision and values.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets journalists and bloggers to secure coverage in toptier publications and media platforms.
  • Identify and engage with influencers and beauty advocates to amplify brand awareness and reach target audiences.
  • Oversee the creation of highquality content including speeches articles blog posts newsletters and press materials ensuring consistent tone and messaging.
  • Plan and execute PR events including product launches beauty influencer events and press tours ensuring seamless logistics and impactful execution.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends competitor activities and media coverage to inform PR strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on messaging and provide communication support for key initiatives including employee engagement and corporate communications.
  • Lead communication efforts related to the companys Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities ensuring positive community and media engagement.
  • Manage the PR and communication budget allocating resources efficiently for maximum impact.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of PR and communication campaigns providing insights to optimize future efforts.
  • Proactively manage the companys public image addressing any negative press or reviews promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications Marketing or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in PR and communications preferably within the beauty fashion or lifestyle industry.
  • Proven track record of managing media relations and creating strong media contacts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling stories.
  • Experience in handling crisis communication and maintaining brand reputation.
  • Strong understanding of digital media influencer partnerships and social media communications.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
