Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Professional to join our Talise Fitness team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:


  • Design and implement personalized fitness programs tailored to the needs and goals, including workout routines, fitness assessments, and progress tracking.


  • Conduct and lead group fitness classes, such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, or strength training, ensuring that sessions are engaging, effective, and suitable for various fitness levels.


  • Provide one-on-one personal training sessions, offering expert guidance, motivation, and support to help achieve fitness goals and improve overall well-being.


  • Ensure the fitness equipment is in good working condition, properly maintained, and cleaned regularly. Report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate maintenance team.


  • Enforce safety protocols and guidelines for the use of fitness equipment and facilities, ensure usage of equipment is done correctly and guests aware of safety procedures to prevent injuries.


  • Offer excellent service by engaging, addressing fitness needs, answering questions, and providing advice on health and wellness topics.


  • Maintain a clean and organized fitness area, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored, and the environment is welcoming and hygienic.





About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 2–5-year experience working as a fitness professional, personal trainer, or in a related role within a gym, health club, or hotel environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • Leadership and team management skill.
