Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detailoriented Procurement Officer with 2 to 4 years of experience in the fitout and joinery sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities ensuring the timely sourcing of materials negotiating contracts and maintaining supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Procurement:
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers of fitout and joinery materials.
  • Manage procurement processes including request for proposals (RFPs) and bid evaluations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments.
  • Address supplier issues and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Cost Management:
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to optimize procurement strategies.
  • Maintain budgetary constraints while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Coordinate with project teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure that materials are delivered on time and meet project specifications.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases contracts and supplier communications.
  • Prepare procurement reports and present findings to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in procurement specifically within the fitout and joinery industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the construction and fitout sectors.

  • Detailoriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Problemsolving skills and a proactive attitude.
