Project Engineer

Roles and responsibilities

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing fabrication projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and the steel/metal fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of fabrication projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Technical Design: Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for fabrication projects.
• Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Resource Coordination: Manage resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.
• Budget Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance.
• Problem-Solving: Identify potential project risks and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, contracts, and correspondence.
