Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Genuine service personality, with high EQ.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma is required/ College degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of one-year experience in a similar position in a 5-star hospitality company.
  • A strong command of both written and spoken English is required; additional language is an asset.
  • Conduct all operational tasks in F&B Service while living up to service standards and procedures.
  • Go the extra (s)mile where you can.
  • Prevent complaints and ensure adequate service recovery where needed.
  • Pro-actively communicate with fellow Ambassadors, always with the Guest’s interests at heart.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement F&B strategies that align with the organization’s goals and enhance the dining experience.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring efficiency and adherence to service standards.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to create innovative and appealing menus that reflect current trends and guest preferences.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for the F&B department, monitoring expenses, and ensuring profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Staff Recruitment and Training: Hire, train, and supervise F&B staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high standards of service.
  • Guest Experience Enhancement: Ensure exceptional service delivery, addressing guest feedback, and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all F&B operations comply with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Essential Skills:

  • Leadership: Strong management skills to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A focus on providing outstanding guest experiences and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with staff, guests, and vendors.
  • Creativity: Innovative thinking in menu development and promotional strategies to enhance the F&B offerings.
