Purchase Officer-Construction

Our Client is a leading real estate and construction group based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are looking for a Purchase Officer to join their team:

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure construction materials equipment and services as per project requirements.
• Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure costeffectiveness quality and timely delivery.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers including pricing payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on material trends and price fluctuations.
• Maintain accurate purchase records contracts and documentation in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
• 23 years of experience in procurement or purchasing preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials equipment and local supplier markets.
• Excellent negotiation communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel).
• Knowledge of UAE procurement regulations and experience working with Abu Dhabibased suppliers is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required;
