How does your working day look like
- Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage the hotels accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Develop implement and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting on operational performance.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with all local state and federal financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decisionmaking.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the hotels assets.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning and provide financial input for business development initiatives.
Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 35 years of accounting experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
