Job Description

How does your working day look like

  • Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage the hotels accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Develop implement and monitor budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records.
  • Perform financial analysis and reporting on operational performance.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal financial regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decisionmaking.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the hotels assets.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in strategic planning and provide financial input for business development initiatives.

Qualifications :

Your personality counts more than your CV

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 35 years of accounting experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
