Tax Compliance: Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Tax Planning: Assisting in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities for corporate clients, including analyzing the tax implications of various business decisions.
Research and Analysis: Conducting research on tax legislation, regulations, and court cases to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
Client Interaction: Communicating with clients to gather necessary information, explain tax issues, and provide guidance on tax matters.
Audit Support: Assisting in tax audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
Financial Statement Analysis: Reviewing financial statements and other documentation to identify tax-related issues and opportunities for clients.
Collaboration: Working closely with other professionals in accounting, finance, and legal to ensure comprehensive tax advice and solutions.
Training and Development: Mentoring junior staff and providing training on tax processes and regulations.
Project Management: Managing multiple tax projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
Continuous Learning: Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential impacts on clients.
