Job Description

DATA SECURITY SPECIALIST

JOB SUMMARY:
The Data Security Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves assessing data security risks developing policies and procedures implementing data security controls and providing guidance on best practices for data protection. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data security principles technologies and regulatory frameworks with the ability to collaborate
effectively with crossfunctional teams to mitigate security threats and safeguard data assets.


Requirements

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Security Policies and Compliance: Develop and implement data security policies procedures and standards that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and stay updated on
the latest trends and technologies in data security.
Data inventory: Collaborate with business units to identify sensitive data types including personally identifiable information (PII) and confidential data. Develop and maintain a data inventory and establish data flows in collaboration with organization s business units to track sensitive data facilitating the creation of data protection policies.
Data Loss prevention: Deploy and manage DLP solutions to prevent unauthorized data
exfiltration leakage or loss. Configure DLP policies to monitor and control data movement across endpoints networks and cloud environments.

Data Classification Solution: Develop and maintain data classification policies and guidelines to categorize data based on sensitivity and criticality. Implement data classification tools and technologies to facilitate labelling data according to predefined classification criteria.

Digital Rights Management (DRM): Implement and configure DRM solutions to protect digital assets and intellectual property from unauthorized access use or distribution. Develop and implement DRM policies and procedures to define rules and guidelines for
accessing sharing and managing digital content within the organization.
Incident Response and Management: Monitor for data breaches or data security
incidents and coordinate with the cybersecurity team to investigate and resolve issues
promptly. Oversee the secure disposal of information assets ensuring protective measures for data storage classification and disposal.

Data security incident management
Minimum experience level
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data security Management
Diverse/multicultural business industry (obtained from medium to large organization)
Multinational company
Energy and utility sector preferred

Maintain and update the company s WordPress website regularly. Post job listings on internal recruitment systems and social media platforms. Create brochures and video content for YouTube and social media to promote job openings and the company brand. Make voice calls to candidates (IT/Non-IT, Finance & Accounting) to discuss job openings and screen candidates. Collaborate with the recruitment team to support sourcing efforts and manage candidate interactions. Ensure that all digital and social media content is aligned with the company s branding and recruitment goals. Requirements: Minimum 10 months of experience in WordPress website development and maintenance. Familiarity with social media management and content creation (brochures, video posts). Strong communication skills, particularly for voice calls with candidates. Basic understanding of recruitment processes, especially in IT and Non-IT (Finance & Accounting) roles. Attention to detail in managing web content and job listings. Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously. Contract Details: 3 months contract with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance. Starting salary of 12,000 - 15,000 CTC during the contract period. Immediate start.
