Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead our design team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in multiunit residential and hospitality design with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering highquality projects. This role requires excellent leadership skills creativity and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and mentor the design team fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with project goals and client expectations.
- Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure design integrity throughout the construction process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their vision and requirements.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
- Lead the creation of design concepts presentations and detailed documentation for multiunit residential and hospitality projects.
- Stay updated on design trends materials and technologies relevant to the UAE market.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of design experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the UAE.
- Proven experience in multiunit residential and hospitality design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and completed projects.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
