Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical systems design and a commitment to excellence. You will work closely with project managers architects and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of projects from conception to completion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and analyze electrical systems including power distribution lighting and fire alarm systems.
- Develop and review electrical drawings specifications and documentation.
- Perform load calculations system simulations and energy modeling.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee installation processes and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Assist in project scheduling budgeting and cost estimation.
- Stay updated on industry trends codes and standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions and problemsolving.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in electrical design preferably in the MEP sector.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit ETAP or similar).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems building codes and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or EIT certification Preferred.
- Experience with renewable energy systems and energyefficient design Preferred.
