The Role?
To act as a proposal, lead on individual RFPs, and contribute towards achieving the booking plan of EnerMech's MEC region.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain clear visibility of the progress on each tender
- Tender kickoff calls
- To act as lead responsible person for preparation, approvals submission and close-out of individual RFPs and large pre-qualification exercises
- Deal with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD and other divisions for tender input in a timely manner
- Follow the tender approval matrix and ensure correct approvals are in place on a timely manner
- Demonstrate with evidence of the cost efficiencies achieved by the proposal specialist position and the resultant effect on the booking plan
- Continue to manage the monthly reporting data
- Dealing with pre and post-tender clarifications
- Ensure compliance with the tender format
- Storyboard reviews through kick-off and progress calls for individual tenders
- Bring in innovative solutions for complex pricing schedules
- Management of tender folders on the server
- Document controlling
- Tender acknowledgements/decline forms
- Any other tasks assigned by the E&P Manager to support the workload
Desired candidate profile
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering Degree
- Previous experience in a commercial/proposal role
- Understanding of an onshore/offshore oil and gas market
- Relevant site-based industry experience
- Previous experience in tendering / commercial roles
- Knowledge of Africa, the Middle East and Caspian Oil & Gas market
