As VP, you will develop strategies to ensure the continued growth and market penetration of Inception's AI-driven investment platforms, overseeing product development, commercialization, and client engagement. Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platform utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with top universities and industry giants to drive significant advancements in AI technology within the region.

Responsibilities

As VP - Investment AI Platform, your financial and investment expertise will be instrumental in driving the vision, development, and execution of Inception’s AI-based investment products.

• Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Inception’s AI-powered investment platform that aligns with the company’s long-term financial and business objectives.
• Lead the product lifecycle, from ideation through development and launch, ensuring that investment AI products meet the evolving needs of institutional investors, hedge funds, and asset managers.
• Define financial goals, performance metrics, and revenue targets for the division, ensuring strong financial outcomes and sustained growth.
• Financial and Investment Expertise
• Leverage deep knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and product management to guide the development of AI-driven platforms tailored for the investment sector.
• Ensure that AI solutions align with financial market demands, offering scalable, data-driven insights to enhance investment decision-making processes.
• Develop strategies that position Inception as a leader in AI-based investment products, driving adoption within financial institutions and ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
• Product Development and Innovation
• Oversee the design and development of AI investment platforms, ensuring that they provide value to financial institutions, asset managers, and other key investment players.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure that AI solutions are both technically advanced and aligned with market needs, providing innovative, real-time insights and predictive analytics.
• Stay ahead of market trends, integrating emerging technologies and feedback to continually enhance the product offering.
• Market Penetration and Client Engagement
• Lead the go-to-market strategy for AI investment products, working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive adoption and market penetration.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key financial institutions, investors, and industry stakeholders, positioning Inception’s AI platform as a leader in the investment technology space.
• Act as the platform’s primary spokesperson, engaging with clients, investors, and industry experts to showcase its capabilities and benefits.
• Financial Management and P&L Responsibility
• Manage the P&L for the investment AI platform, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and financial performance.
• Oversee financial planning and budget allocation, balancing cost management with innovation to maximize product impact and market success.
• Drive new revenue streams through the expansion of product offerings, market growth, and strategic partnerships in the investment ecosystem.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and data science teams to ensure alignment between product development and the latest AI innovations.
• Work with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure that all AI investment products adhere to financial regulations and industry standards.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and client success teams to ensure seamless product launches, strong customer onboarding, and long-term market success.
• Operational Excellence
• Implement efficient operational processes for product development, client onboarding, and investment platform management to ensure scalability and client satisfaction.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, client engagement, and financial performance.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies to manage potential market, regulatory, or competitive challenges.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in financial services, fintech, or investment platforms, with a focus on solutions and innovation.
• Proven track record of managing financial products, P&L, and driving growth in high-growth environments.
• Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, or data-driven solutions in the investment sector.
