Tile Worker / Tile Installation specialist
Description: The Company of our client is expanding into new projects. Therefore our client is looking to employ sed and experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing tiles including ceramic porcelain stone and other materials in residential and commercial spaces. This role involves preparing surfaces measuring cutting and installing tiles with precision to achieve the desired design and finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare work surfaces by cleaning leveling and applying adhesives.
Measure and mark surfaces to layout work accurately.
Cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles and into corners.
Install tiles on walls floors and other surfaces using hand tools and power tools.
Apply grout between joints ensuring uniformity and a smooth finish.
Perform repairs or replacements of broken or damaged tiles.
Ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations and company quality standards.
Collaborate with clients contractors and other trades to ensure projects meet specifications.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required aesthetic and functional standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Tile Worker or similar role.
Knowledge of various tiling materials and installation techniques.
Proficient in using tile cutting tools measuring tools and other necessary equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Excellent problemsolving ss and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
Education and Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in tiling or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
Health and safety training or certification preferred.
Work Environment
Ability to work on construction sites both indoors and outdoors.
May require heavy lifting standing for extended periods and working in various conditions.
