Responsibilities
Design and implement control algorithms using ROS2 frameworks for aerial manipulation systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test control systems on various drone platforms and robotic manipulators.
Analyze and optimize control performance through simulation and real-world experimental testing, iterating designs as necessary.
Troubleshoot and debug control software and hardware issues to ensure smooth operation of aerial manipulation systems.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in aerial robotics and manipulation control techniques, incorporating relevant innovations into project development.
Requirements
Proficiency in ROS and ROS2 for developing and implementing control algorithms. Preferably, understanding on ROS2 Control
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
Familiarity with robotics simulation tools (e.g., Rviz, Unity, Gazebo).
Experience with drone control frameworks such as PX4, ArduPilot, DJIs, and others.
Strong background in control theory and algorithms, particularly in the context of aerial manipulation.
Familiarity with robotics manipulators, their kinematics and dynamics.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
