Job Description
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant discipline from recognized university
- Master’s degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage
Essential
Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
- 6 -10 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.
Advantage
- Previous experience in Region
Technical Knowledge And Skills (Discipline Specific)
- Knowledge of basic engineering processes
- Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices
- Must be familiar with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
- Technical analysis of engineering problems
- Preparation of non-critical engineering design documents
- Knowledge of detail engineering of Telecommunication systems involving SDH/SONET, DWDM network design/configuration using backbone fibre optic cable for Data, Voice & Video, Radio-Microwave-VHF/UHF & VSAT communication, Hardware & Software configuration of the networking interfaces for SCADA/DCS/RTU
- Knowledge of Telephone & PA/GA systems, CCTV, Security Access Control systems and structured cabling for industrial premises.
- Knowledge of communication channel allocation plan, network management system
