Reporting to Head of Agile BAS and Change Management as Product Owner you will work within your tribe and the business to communicate and deliver the product vision strategy and roadmap based on market research customer insights and business goals; continuously seeking to achieve iterative value achieving the best value possible for our customers partners and the business.
As Product Owner your role will involve:
- Define and communicate the product vision strategy and roadmap based on market research customer feedback and business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories epics and acceptance criteria ensuring a comprehensive understanding by the development team.
- Incorporate the customer experience standards into the customer journey ensuring red line standards as a bare minimum are met.
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog ensuring that it is wellgroomed organized and reflects the highest value items.
- Work closely with the development and testing teams to ensure the successful delivery of product features providing guidance and clarifications as needed including post implementation support.
- Input into regular sprint planning sprint review meetings and conducts backlog refinement ensuring that the team is aligned and focused on delivering customer and business value.
- Act as the main point of contact for all productrelated inquiries clarifications and decisions providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends opportunities and potential risks and use these insights to drive product innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a usercentric approach in product design and development.
- Engage with customers gather feedback and conduct user testing to validate product concepts and gather insights for future enhancements.
- Monitor product performance and usage metrics analyze data and identify areas for improvement or new feature development.
- Work closely with the tribe master and functional leads to realize benefits associated with the product
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies and continuously seek opportunities to enhance product offerings.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelors degree in business Computer Science or a related field. Relevant certifications like a CSPO is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in management/leadership
- Good understanding of product management methodologies agile principles and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a datadriven mindset and the ability to make informed decisions and influence decisions on the back of data.
- Experience with usercentric design and usability principles with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Good knowledge of product management tools and software such as JIRA Confluence or similar platforms.
- Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams foster collaboration and drive consensus.
- Knowledge of insurance products and services in the insurance industry is a must.
