Civil Foreman - Solar Project

Job Overview:

As a Civil Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the solar construction process onsite. You will be the main point of contact for the project team and will ensure that all work is completed according to the project plans budget and schedule. This is a handson role that requires a strong understanding of construction techniques excellent leadership skills and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all onsite construction activities including scheduling budgeting and resource allocation
• Ensure that all work is completed according to project plans specifications and quality standards
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Supervise and lead a team of construction workers including subcontractors to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Communicate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns
• Order and maintain inventory of materials and equipment needed for the project
• Prepare and submit progress reports daily logs and other documentation as required
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or delays
• Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients subcontractors and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques and processes
