Plastic Fabricator

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Perform duties and responsibilities as Plastic (HDPE) Fabricator as assigned by the Lead Plastic Fabricator.

DESCRIPTION:

• Execute tasks according to the daily production schedule
  provided by the Lead or Supervisor.
• Develop layouts and plan sequences of operations utilizing knowledge of trigonometry stock allowances for thickness machine and welding shrinkage and the physical properties of materials.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment including Jigsaw micro extruder and reciprocating saw.
• Position align fit and weld parts together with precision.
• Verify that workpieces conform to specifications using measuring tools such as squares rulers and measuring tapes.
• Proficient in butt fusion and electro fusion welding techniques.
  Experience in onsite HDPE Welding.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Adhere to company HSE policies and procedures promptly reporting any unsafe practices to the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• High school (minimum) and preferably with specific skills relevant for production activities.
• Preferably Certified HDPE welding Buttfusion
• Proven work experience as a Plastic (HDPE) Fabricator in same or similar industry
• Ability to read drawings.
• Understanding of safety and Equipment procedures.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Ability to work at site.
