JOB OBJECTIVE:
Perform duties and responsibilities as Plastic (HDPE) Fabricator as assigned by the Lead Plastic Fabricator.
DESCRIPTION:
- Execute tasks according to the daily production schedule
provided by the Lead or Supervisor. - Develop layouts and plan sequences of operations utilizing knowledge of trigonometry stock allowances for thickness machine and welding shrinkage and the physical properties of materials.
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment including Jigsaw micro extruder and reciprocating saw.
- Position align fit and weld parts together with precision.
- Verify that workpieces conform to specifications using measuring tools such as squares rulers and measuring tapes.
- Proficient in butt fusion and electro fusion welding techniques.
Experience in onsite HDPE Welding. - Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Adhere to company HSE policies and procedures promptly reporting any unsafe practices to the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- High school (minimum) and preferably with specific skills relevant for production activities.
- Preferably Certified HDPE welding Buttfusion
- Proven work experience as a Plastic (HDPE) Fabricator in same or similar industry
- Ability to read drawings.
- Understanding of safety and Equipment procedures.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Ability to work at site.
