What will I be doing?
As an IT Coordinator, you will support the IT Department in its efforts to ensure the quality and delivery of IT systems for both the hotel and its Guests. These efforts will be fulfilled timely and in accordance with IT operating standards. Specifically, the IT Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Provide day-to-day support for all internal hotel IT systems and users, minimizing any system outages.
- Provides user training and support of all property/site systems, network enhancements, hardware and software support.
- Maintains inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.
- Assist the IT Manager with the designing and implementation of the technology services to ensure alignment with area/cluster objectives and corporate strategic IT direction.
- Identify and communicate solutions to user challenges and concern associated with the use of personal computer equipment.
- Record all issues that arise and advise the IT Manager of any issues that need further attention.
- Monitor, Diagnose and adjust performance on LAN and network servers.
- Ensure periodic preventative maintenance on machines to ensure their reliability and availability.
- Work closely with property management to ensure smooth running of the network and assist in helping to maintain the site systems.
- Provide guidance for hardware, software, and network setup and installation, ensuring compliance with Hilton standards and certification process, including acceptance testing and providing direction to outside installation resources.

- Previous IT experience, preferably in hotels, leisure, and/or service sector
- Experience of all Microsoft systems
- Experience of hotel applications, such as PMS and POS Micros, Agilysys is preferred
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Current technical skills and knowledge of technology
