Job Summary:
The Sales Executive (Modern Trade) will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets within the modern trade sector. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent relationship-building abilities, and a deep understanding of the FMCG market in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s footprint in the modern trade sector.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including major retailers and wholesalers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and enhancing market presence.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and trade agreements with key accounts to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including performance analysis, market insights, and sales forecasts to senior management.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product range, effectively communicating product benefits and features to clients.
- Promotional Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities and in-store events that drive sales and brand visibility.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector, with a focus on modern trade.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Abu Dhabi FMCG market and modern trade dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Valid UAE driver’s license.
