Job Description

  • Identifie key opportunities for growth in the affinity segment aligned with segment strategy for the region.
  • Collaborate alongside C&C and Affinity unit leader and teams to develop penetration strategies of existing affinity arrangements to drive revenue for both Marsh & Sponsor.
  • Keep current on industry and market trends and develops growth strategy for targeted accounts, industries, or specialties to ensure appropriate solutions are marketed and proposed to target new buyer hubs and expand the book of business.
  • Work with technical specialists both locally and globally to make informed recommendations.
  • Work with Affinity segment project leads to ensure conditions, coverage and pricing are advantageous for the client.
  • Feedback any customer journey pain-points and areas of improvement/development ensuring that Affinity project leads deliver against the product/operationally and execute on customer requirements where agreed.
  • Work with the Project Manager to develop the project plan for the overall sales process for account work and monitors progress ensuring timeframes are effectively planned and high-quality products or solutions successfully delivered.
  • Maintain and preserve relationships and ensuring full handover of servicing requirements to Client Executives.
  • Review, analyse and understand clients/prospects business to determine needs, and potential business opportunities and design optimum insurance programs for clients
  • Achieve sales targets as outlined by the Manager and assist Manager in achieving budgeted targets across new and existing clients and expected team goals
  • Responsible for onboarding of affinity partnerships and supporting team with large account penetration within existing programmes.
  • Identification and execution of cross sell opportunities to new customers.
  • Self-generation of new ideas and strategic planning to follow-up and close new and existing customers.
  • Develop & deliver presentations and agendas to support prospection meetings.
  • Work together with Affinity Client Executives/ project management on annual insurance renewals including strategy, development, and timeline.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect/client contact through the use of the CRM systems.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of contract preparation, processing, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with latest policies/procedures and ensure that the same is in line with other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain good relations with Insurance market.
  • Pro-actively collaborate with all internal and external units to deliver client requirements.
  • Provide the Manager with accurate sales and productivity reports.
  • Maintains strong relationships with senior level professional counterparts and sales representatives in client organizations.
  • Participates in team meetings and activities in order to share opinions, ideas, knowledge, and solutions and seeks opportunities to increase own understanding and improve the services provided.
  • Attends and participates frequently in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company as a thought leader.
