Soil Sampler

We are looking for an experienced Sampler to join our Mining Drill & Blast team at our Whyalla, SA operations. This is a long-term project for SRG Global having been the drilling and blasting contractor onsite since 2012.

Both full-time and casual positions available. This position is residential with client supplied transport daily from Whyalla. Roster is 7:7 (days) day shift & night shift.

The Role

The Sampler plays a critical role in providing reliable data that informs decision-making processes, supports quality control measures, and contributes to the overall operational efficiency and success of the organization.

Responsible for safely collecting samples of coal, ore, crushed stone, stockpiles or mines and preforming tests/transporting materials and samples to laboratory for conformance to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and collect samples from worksite
• Count, measure, weigh and label samples as needed
• Assist with site
