Job Description
We are currently looking for a renowned hospital for a Consultant Otology ENT for the Dubai location.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear disorders. This role involves providing comprehensive otological care including surgical interventions to patients of all ages.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform a full range of otological surgical procedures including:
- Cholesteatoma ear surgeries
- Tympanoplasty with ossicular chain reconstruction (ossiculoplasty)
- Mastoidectomy/tympanomastoidectomy/mastoid obliteration
- Cochlear implants
- Stapedotomy / Stapedectomy
- Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (BAHA)
- Bone bridge implants
- CSF Otorrhoea repair
- Endolymphatic sac decompression for Meniere s disease
- Exostoses canaloplasty
- Facial nerve decompression / facial nerve reconstruction
- Fistula repair
- Provide preand postoperative care including patient education and counseling
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in research and academic activities
