- Accountable for Business Specialist Applications portfolio’s delivery success by leveraging the appropriate Agile delivery methodologies to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the portfolio.
- Optimize productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the portfolio’s goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to change.
- Actively partners with Product, Architecture and Technology stakeholders to align solutions with program objectives within an Agile delivery culture
- Applies complex facilitation and dependency management techniques to drive cross-program and departmental planning, collaboration, and coordination
- Optimizes strategic flow of delivery across business and technology by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement with measurable outcomes
- Understands overall architecture, business capabilities and alignment with corporate initiative so they can assist in removing impediments
- Ensure the seamless operation of property management systems (PMS), customer relationship management (CRM) systems, POS systems, Payments, F&B and SPA/Health Club and other hospitality-specific platforms.
- Enable transformation of IT delivery models towards Agile and Continuous delivery
- Ensure that agile best practices are adopted with continuous coaching on adaptive, iterative methods such as scrum and Kanban, facilitating frequent demos and empowering teams to solve problems.
- Lead major IT projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 12+ years experience in Information Technology, leading digital transformations and Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of hospitality systems (PMS, CRS, POS, CRM), Compliance, Hotel Pre-Openings and IT infrastructure management.
- Ability to deliver executive-level insights and guidance with a strategic mindset to envision the future and translate into tangible strategies
- Strong self and social confidence and tenacity; polished & persuasive communicator and presenter
- Robust analytical and strategic planning and execution skills with creative decision making and problem solving skills.
