An opportunity has arisen for a Food and Beverage Manager to join the team in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Assists in the co-ordination of organizational and administrative functions of the delegated F&B outlets.
- Assists in planning and implementing programs, policies and procedures to ensure that the standards are met.
- To ensure that the departmental objectives are cascaded to the delegated teams.
Administrational
- Assists in establishing standards of performance and job descriptions of colleagues.
- Participates in public relations activities, sales calls or other promotional activities designed at enhancing the image and profitability of the delegated F&B outlets.
- Ensure up-to-date hard copies of department SOPs are maintained at all times.
Operational
- Assists in conducting briefing with the outlet managers and outlet general managers.
- Meeting and interacts with representatives of the local community and potential guests as required.
- Assists in monitoring the activities of competitive hotels/restaurants.
- Assists outlet managers and outlet general managers to fulfil their responsibilities.
Financial
- Participates in the preparation of the annual business plan and sales and marketing plans.
- Monitors closely the profitability of all food and beverage outlets.
- Provides solutions to improve problem areas and assists in implementing corrective measures.
- To assist each outlet manager in the planning and implementation of effective sales and promotional activities to ensure maximum revenues
