Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic team at Eye Specialty Clinic in Dubai. As a Pediatric Ophthalmologist you will specialize in diagnosing treating and managing eye conditions and diseases in children from infancy through adolescence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients eye health and visual capabilities.
  
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric eye conditions including refractive errors strabismus amblyopia congenital eye abnormalities and genetic eye disorders.
  
• Perform surgical procedures when necessary such as strabismus surgery pediatric cataract surgery and other pediatric ophthalmic surgeries.
  
• Prescribe corrective lenses medications or other therapies as appropriate.
  
• Monitor patients progress and response to treatment adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals including pediatricians optometrists and orthoptists to provide comprehensive care.
  
• Educate patients and their families about eye health treatment options and preventive measures.
  

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  
• Residency training in Ophthalmology.
  
• Fellowship training or extensive experience in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
  
• Board certification in Ophthalmology with specialization in Pediatric Ophthalmology preferred.
  
• Valid license to practice medicine in Dubai UAE.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and their families.
