Requirements Gathering: Work with the business, operations and support teams in WB and SME. Also engaging with other teams that consume client data
Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful business insights using SAS/SQL.
Reporting: Design and develop excel reports to communicate key performance indicators and trends to stakeholders.
Data Accuracy: Work closely with the Data and BI teams to ensure data is sourced from the correct data platform.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of reports to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to business requirements.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements and business rules.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of systems and reports.
Specifications
Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science & Engineering, or equivalent degree from an accredited academic institution
Understanding in Data & Information Management domain and required tools & technologies
3-4 years of experience in providing MIS/BA solutions
Good to have Banking domain knowledge in UAE/Middle East
Outstanding analytical skills with attention to detail. Tenacity to identify the root cause of problems is essential.
Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders.
Robust knowledge of data, systems and analytical tools like SAS/SQL and Excel., Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and data environments.
Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an added advantage (not mandatory)
Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills, who can think creatively and strategically while building cross-functional and cross-divisional relationships and excellent communication skills.
Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) (optional)
SAS certification (optional)
Familiarity with Core Banking Systems/CRM /Loan Management Systems preferred
