Job Description

What You'll Do

As an E-Markets IT Support professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's eCommerce trading platforms. You will be responsible for providing second-line application support across global regions, ensuring that any issues are swiftly identified and resolved. Your ability to analyse problems and design effective solutions will be key to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge with others in the team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Provide Pre-Trade System 2nd line application support out of London for global regions
  • Analyse, design & develop solutions to problems raised following best practices
  • Identify and communicate issues and risks to manager as appropriate in a timely manner
  • Support Level 1.5 teams with problem investigation, resolution and knowledge transfer as required
  • Proactively respond to the demands and challenges of Business and other IT Departments
  • Ensure the robustness of systems and procedures within eCommerce IT
  • Share knowledge and participate as a team member within eCommerce IT team
  • Participate in Functional and User Acceptance Testing for projects that impact the eCommerce IT

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this E-Markets IT Support role will bring a wealth of experience in eCommerce/eMarkets support, particularly within a Smart Trade environment. You should have a strong understanding of trade processing, trade types, and straight-through processing, as well as experience with Linux and familiarity with API integrations and web services. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, while your excellent communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
  • Proven experience in eCommerce/eMarkets support, preferably in a Smart Trade environment
  • Good working knowledge of trade processing, trade types, and straight-through processing
  • Experience with LinuxFamiliarity with API integrations and web services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
