Job Description



About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Attendant to join the Health Club in Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The main purpose of this role is to provide a service relating to all aspect of the Health Club Gym including safe use of equipment, reporting to Management/Supervisor. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure gymnasium is operated in accordance with the Health and Safety policy of the Madinat Jumeirah Resort
  • To liaise with Fitness Professionals and line management on a daily basis
  • To assist the Fitness Professionals in all aspects of the gym operation
  • To assist guests and gym users on the gym equipment and have a using knowledge of all equipment and its correct usage
  • To ensure all equipment is clean and operated in accordance with the operating instructions from the manufacturer
  • To maintain a sufficient stock of fruits, towels, cold towels, headphone sponges and water bottles
  • To carry out any other reasonable requests as deemed necessary by Management/ Supervisor
  • To maintain, report and keep a record of all engineering requests through help line (), along with the Fitness Professionals
  • To manage requests for water & fruits supplies for the gymnasium.
  • Be familiar with The Quay Health club reception duties and assist when necessary.
  • To maintain the cleanliness of fitness assessment room
  • To conduct client induction, guidance and assistance during the absence of Fitness Professionals, as necessary.



About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to maintain stocks and inventories.
  • Pleasant Personality. and good communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Knowledge of basic gym equipment
  • Good interaction with guests.
