Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with the hotel’s objectives and values.
  • Design and deliver training programs for all levels, including onboarding, leadership development, technical skills training, and service excellence.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, engagement, and accountability among Colleagues
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and inspire the L&D team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success and professional growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and innovations in learning and development, and incorporate into training initiatives.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an L&D role, as Training Manager or similar role of learning and development, training, or talent development roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective training programs that drive employee engagement, performance, and retention
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire team members at all levels
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and other training technologies
