You will be updated with latest job alerts via email1. Contribute to the formulation and development of policies related to employee behavior and performance in line with the Dubai Government’s human resources laws, and ensure their consistency with best practices.
2. Raising awareness of the importance of adhering to human resources laws and policies through awareness programs and activities related to functional compliance in the work environment, with the aim of enhancing responsibility among Dubai Customs employees and achieving institutional goals effectively and sustainably.
3. Keeping up with and understanding updates on legislation related to human resources that are announced by the competent authorities and ensuring their compatibility with the internal policies and regulations of Dubai Customs.
4. Contributing to the periodic review of the matrix of delegation of powers and ensuring that there is no duplication or conflict in the delegated powers in accordance with work requirements and institutional objectives, which aims to ensure effective business continuity in the department.
5. Effective communication with all employees of the department and ensuring that all inquiries received regarding employee rights and duties are answered to enhance transparency in the work environment.
6. Enter and review all employee data in the Government Resource Planning (GRP) system and ensure that this data is updated periodically.
7. Verify data related to attendance, leave, payslips, and employee details, through the Government Resource Planning (GRP) system effectively, including reviewing and addressing any discrepancies or problems related to this data and taking the necessary measures to correct them.
8. Preparing periodic reports on attendance and departure statements and employee vacations to serve the required studies and statistics and human resources needs and submitting them to the direct manager.
9. Preparing periodic reports on procedures related to the department’s work, such as retirement, end-of-service, and salary reports, and submitting them to the department head for review and making decisions regarding them.
10. Follow up and contribute to addressing complaints submitted by employees in addition to legal disputes related to human resources.
11. Contributing to the preparation of official memorandums and letters that are sent to external official bodies related to personnel affairs and submitting them to the head of the department to take the necessary decisions.
12. Follow up with organizational units regarding employee evaluation at the end of the probationary period and take the necessary action in the system
13. Performing any duties assigned by the direct manager in a proper and timely manner with reliability, integrity, and ensuring that the assigned tasks are completed to the fullest extent.
