Responsible for analysing and interpreting assessment data as it relates to individual student achievement and to the performance of CIA.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential data files of student achievement and will work to support data literacy training for teachers and administrators in the use of data to improve instruction.
Apply appropriate statistical measurements to data; review school and external data to develop comparison trends; and design and develop reports as requested.
Analyze and prepare reports from National and International Assessment data as it relates to individual student performance and school improvement.
Compile data from multiple assessments to develop student, subject, year group, or school achievement profiles. Ensure the validity of all data presented to staff.
Co-ordinate with the Data Executive to ensure the correct data collection procedures and reporting processes are in place on SIMS/ Phoenix.
Develop and maintain historical student and school data files to monitor and track performance.
Interpret and review assessment data with administrators and teachers; support planning of action steps.
Data input and management.
Input data accurately and efficiently into Assessment Management systems, and transferring all school data from SIMS into Phoenix.
Write, design and produce simple snapshot reports illustrating general trends in school data. Impart Staff Training.
Attend, and lead as appropriate, training sessions and site meetings related to assigned responsibilities.
Work with staff in school in one-on-one and group settings to conduct training in the use of data to improve student results.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal. Co-ordination within various departments.
