Accountant

• Manage financial records and ensure their accuracy and integrity.
• Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Review budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
• Maintain accurate financial statements and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in a petroleum trading company in a similar position would be considered a plus.
• Experience in a commodities trading company would be considered a plus.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices in the UAE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
