AGL Technician

Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Troubleshoot, maintain, assist operation and repair all aspects of the Aeronautical Ground Lighting System located at all customer air bases to ensure serviceability and maintenance of AGL asset as per customer and regulatory requirement • Take necessary measures to ensure availability of the AGL control panel display utilised in the ATC environment providing users with seamless operations as required • Carry out Complete designated scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities of the electrical and non-electrical equipment airfield equipment such as approach lights, runway edge identifier lights, threshold lights, centreline lights, precision approach path indicator lights, taxiway lights, constant current regulators, windsocks etc. to ensure full functionality at all times. • Follow the procedures set forth in the Equipment Instruction Manuals and the departmental standard operating procedures and adhere to applicable Military and/or Civil Aviation regulations for compliance
