Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of guests.
• Able to recognize guests and memorize their names and preferences.
• Track station assignments and seating rotation.
• Assist managers and supervisors with administrative duties.
• Book reservations and respond to all enquiries in a timely manner.
• Ensure that guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous fashion.
• Display a pleasant disposition at all times.
• Ensure the needs of waiting guests are met.
• Provide guests with sincere advice and obliging recommendations.
• Assist with ‘to go’ orders.
• Monitor the open sections of the lounge for empty and cleaned tables.
• Maintain a stocked, tidy and clean work area at all times.
• Work as a contributing team member and act in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the management team.
  

Special Requirements

• College education or equivalent experience.
• One to two years’ previous experience as a Host/ess in a reputable restaurants or 5 Star Hotels. Dubai experience preferred.
• Full proficiency in English is required.
• Must be computer literate and have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have good customer relation skills, dynamic personality and service is in the blood.
