Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
Promoting a dynamic safety culture across the Unit, continuously looking for improvement
Providing regular health and safety advice for staff and managers in the Unit
Promoting effective and timely communication of relevant HSSW information within the Unit
To keep abreast of developments in relevant HSSW legislation and practice, and act upon any changes accordingly
Reporting monthly to the Unit GM and Executive on HSSW performance, including analysis of trends and issues arising from incident reports, audits and the dissemination of lessons learned as appropriate
