Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive databases and data systems to collect, organize, and analyze academic data effectively.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to student performance, attendance, behavior, and other relevant metrics.
Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate academic data findings and insights to school leadership, faculty, and other stakeholders.
Provide support and guidance to faculty and staff on interpreting and utilizing academic data to inform instructional strategies, intervention initiatives, and student support services.
Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in academic data analysis and educational research.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in an educational setting, with a strong understanding of academic data systems and processes.
Experience working in a British school is required.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
