Job Description
- Setup the procurement policy and procedure and ensure familiarisation with all stakeholders.
- Annually gather all departments’ requirements and ensure budget availability.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms, including competitive pricing, discounts, and payment conditions.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Continuously analyse market trends to ensure the company is obtaining the best value for goods and services.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and negotiate budgets, contractual terms with suppliers.
- Ensure all contracts align with company policies and legal requirements.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors promptly.
- Govern and Control the procurement policy and processes.
- Streamline procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of the procurement function.
