Job Description:

As a Buyer you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials equipment and services essential for our client’s operations in the oil & gas sector. You will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and costeffective procurement of highquality products while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to industry standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and establish longterm partnerships.
Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery ensuring timely and accurate purchase orders.
Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends pricing and availability of materials.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost quality and delivery times.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality delivery and pricing.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with procurement activities.
Maintain accurate records of purchases supplier agreements and inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and health & safety standards.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities cost savings and supplier performance.
Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in procurement processes and practices.

Profile Sought:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement preferably within the oil & gas industry.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
