Industrial Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and prototypes for new products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand project goals
• Conduct market research to identify current design trends and consumer preferences
• Create 2D and 3D models of product designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and gather feedback
• Modify designs based on feedback and ensure that all specifications are met
• Work closely with engineers and manufacturers to ensure that designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
• Conduct usability tests and gather user feedback to refine designs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field
• Proven experience as an Industrial Designer or a similar role
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics
• Excellent sketching and visualization skills
• Strong creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
