Job Description
On behalf of our client we are looking for an Assistant Director of Public Relations. In this position you will work closely with the PR Director to oversee and implement plans and campaigns ensuring all activities are in line with the companys marketing strategy and financial objectives.
The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in PR Music Entertainment Strategy and Nightlife with strong UK and global press contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify develop and pitch stories
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders
- Supervise and support the public relations team as needed to ensure continued development and success
- Conduct site inspections for media partners and organize all requests
- Conduct press conferences product launches and other promotional events
- Develop market insights and assess new media prospects
- Draft speeches and organize media interviews for Senior Leaders
- Develop compelling content press releases pitches social media posts media kits and other brand collateral
- Provide regular updates on the projects status and keep up with the latest trends and developments
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Journalism Hospitality Management or similar discipline
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in Public Relations is required
- Strong press contacts in print digital radio and TV are a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
