Registered Manager (Ofsted)
Childrens Residential Home
South Croydon
NEW SERVICE
40-50k
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced OFSTED Registered Manager to launch their 4 -bed Childrens home in South Croydon. The client has been providing other care services since 2019 and this is there first Residential Childrens Home.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager, known to Ofsted within the last 5 years and someone who has achieved a minimum of Good.
The service is a developing therapeutic community which shall bring both children and adults to work closely together to create a safe, homely and nurturing environment.
Specialising in caring for children who have suffered some sort of trauma in their early years, such as sexual, physical or emotional abuse or neglect. Many of our children present with a variety of behavioural problems, such as Conduct and Attachment Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, sexualised behaviour, and special needs such as moderate learning difficulties.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years residential experience 2 of which at a supervisory level in the last 5 years
- 2 year managerial experience in a Children s residential home
- QCF level 5 in leadership and management in children s residential or be 50% though working towards this.
- Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures and best practice in caring for looked after children
- Willingness to increase knowledge through ongoing training
Benefits
Salary 40- 50k depending on experience.
