CAD ARCHITECT

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and develop architectural drawings and plans using CAD software ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects engineers and designers to translate conceptual designs into detailed CAD drawings for residential commercial and institutional projects.
• Generate floor plans elevations sections and details to communicate design intent and facilitate the construction process.
• Incorporate building codes regulations and zoning requirements into CAD drawings to ensure compliance and permit approval.
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as structural and MEP (mechanical electrical plumbing) engineers to integrate architectural elements into the overall building design.
• Revise and update CAD drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders including architects clients and contractors.
• Manage and organize CAD files and documentation for efficient project workflow and information sharing.
• Provide support during the construction phase by producing asbuilt drawings and responding to RFIs (requests for information) related to architectural details.

Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Revit or similar programs with demonstrated experience in architectural drafting and detailing.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles building construction techniques and industry standards.
• Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in CAD drafting with the ability to produce highquality drawings.
• Familiarity with building codes regulations and permit processes relevant to architectural design.
• Prior experience in architectural firms or construction companies is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
