Job Description

A reputable national firm located in west Los Angeles in seeking a Conflicts Attorney. This is a hybrid, nonpracticing role providing direct support to the firm's partners and counsel. It is a great opportunity for attorneys seeking to pivot into a nonpracticing role and pursue a new career path. This role does not require prior conflicts experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the conflicts resolution process for new business
  • Conducting in-depth legal research of conflict entities to identify potential conflicts and providing comprehensive analyses on conflict waivers
  • Serving as escalation point for Conflicts Analysts and troubleshooting conflicts issues through to resolution

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree and active bar status in the State of California
  • A minimum of three years of legal practice experience
  • Understanding of conflicts of interest
  • Strong communication, client service, and time management skills
