CAD DrafterDesigner

Description:

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for detailing/designing structural/custom countertops and remodels by using AutoCAD.

Assisting the rest of the engineers in house with any issues they have with AutoCAD

May work cross-functionally with customers to determine exactly what they need in the product, also working with other layers of the organization and suppliers.

Must Haves:

Minimum 5+ years' of experience with AutoCAD**

Prior experience designing within the stone/marble industry

Prior experience with a precision laser measurement software (they use LT2D3D, Laser Technologies)

High level of expertise within drafting/drawing per customer specifications

Ability to travel locally using company car ~15-20% of the time

Plus Haves:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

AlphaCAM experience

Local candidate that would be able to start immediately

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• AutoCAD - Need someone that has industry experience with AutoCAD because they just lost their two main users of the tool. If experience is in another 3d package we just need to be able to explain what that exposure has been.
• Mechanical Aptitude - Understanding how things need to be put together will help with the custom projects/specifications portion of their work.
