Job Details
Our organization is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Grants Analyst to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your financial acumen in the Non-Profit industry and make a significant impact on our mission to enable our community to thrive! As a Grants Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial information related to grants, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and supporting our financial planning and budgeting processes. This role requires a strong understanding budget planning, as well as the ability to analyze financial reports and manage month-end processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee financial aspects of grants, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex financial reports and projections, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of budgets and financial plans.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage and track grant-related financial data.
- Work closely with the Grants team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting for grant-funded projects.
- Provide support in the preparation of audit materials and facilitate external audits.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand financial needs and provide appropriate guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the Non-Profit industry.
- Strong ability to analyze financial reports and manage month-end processes.
- Experience with grant analysis and financial management.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local funding sources and grant-related compliance requirements is a plus.
