Group Manager Business Intelligence and Insights
Job Description
Group Manager BII is responsible for ensuring the integrity and timeliness of internal and external reporting deliverables. This position will act as primary resource for escalation, resolution, and identification of key issues that impact reporting capabilities. Manage and lead a team responsible for developing and supporting automated and self service business performance reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements, fully understand business needs and translate them into design specifications as required.
- Make decisions on the most appropriate way to deliver a solution, based on the needs of the business
- Works with key resources to develop a strong understanding of the key business contacts, tools, processes and associated data/metrics
- Build understanding of assigned clients and assume the role of subject matter expert
- Identify the feasibility of developing new reports using knowledge of all available data sources and data relationships
- Communicate effectively with Report stakeholders in relation to report outages and data governance issues
- Drive all phases of development projects from requirements gathering through to deployment of the reporting solution.
- Establish and track timelines for assigned projects. Produce effort / duration / resource estimates for appropriate phases of projects.
- Work with team members and other functions as needed in the role of project facilitator, ensuring all deliverables are achieved.
Required Skills:
- Degree in related technical discipline or significant work related experience and professional training
- Must have at least 5 years' experience working on Business Intelligence automation or development of self-service Business Intelligence & Insights solutions
- Preferable to have experience of working in a contact center environment for at least 2 years.
