Duties and Responsibilities for Medical Director
- Initially serves as the primary doctor for the first 150 to 300 members/patients during the first year of operations, then shifts into management as outlined below.
- Responsible for recruiting new doctors, and middle-level teams as the medical facility expands.
- Managerial role overseeing a team of 10 doctors and the middle level team.
- Manage the vision within the hiring, training, recruitment, core values, and culture for the bva entire medical team.
- Develops the overall medical plan, outlining the philosophy and proactive approach to patient care.
- Collaborates with the Director of Member Experience on integrating medical plans into the marketing strategies.
- Establish and market relationships with specialists such as cardiologists and orthopedics.
Compensation & Benefits for Medical Director
- Annual compensation $350,000
- Annual bonuses at 25%- 50% plus equity options

- CME- 2000 plus 4 - 5 days off
- Vacation - 3 weeks increasing with tenure (flexible)
Requirements for Medical Director
- At least 15 years of experience.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Desires to change how medicine and high touch, five-star service is delivered and packaged for high-net-worth seniors.
- Leader, coach, and manager. Ability to recruit other Doctors along with a recruiter.
- Should have strong relationships within the community (Tampa, Sarasota or Naples), particularly with hospitals and specialists.
- A candidate looking at retiring in the next five to ten years is suitable for the position.
